General Duties: 
The Assessor’s office provides information on the assessed valuation of real property, the current sales ratio for the municipality, and improvements to your property which may affect valuation.

The Assessor’s Office also directs Municipal-wide re-evaluations and re-assessments when they occur.

Property Tax Deduction for Veterans or Surviving Spouses:
Applications are available for those who qualify for veteran, senior citizen, and disabled person deductions, surviving spouses or surviving civil union partner of one who was qualified.  All qualifications must be met in order for the deduction to be granted.  Surviving spouses or domestic partners may continue to receive the deduction provided that all eligibility requirements are met.  Please see the Tax Collectors site for the link.

Tax assessment appeals may be filed between January 1 and April 1. 

Filing deadline for 2014 Senior Freeze (PTR) Applications extended to October 15, 2015

Homestead Rebate/ FAIR Homeowner Rebate/NJ Saver Rebate
