Pet Licensing:
Dog and Cat licenses must be renewed every year in January to avoid any late fee. The fee for spayed and or neutered dog and or cat is $7.20. If your animal is not spayed and or neutered the fee is $10.20. In February, a late fee of $10.00 is assessed. After that it is $1.00 per month for every month thereafter until the end of the year. Please come to the Borough Hall between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm with payment, cash or check, and a current rabies certification valid thru November of the current year. This is a state law that all dogs must be licensed and have a current rabies vaccination. If you have any questions, please call the Borough Hall.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING RECYCLING: As of January 1, 2022, any recycling placed to the curb in PLASTIC BAGS will NOT be collected. Plastic bags, of any kind, are not to be placed with the curbside recycling. All plastic bags, may be taken to your local supermarket where they have bins as you walk in the store. You must place your recycling in a container or can that cannot be blown over by the wind. All shredded papers are to be thrown out with your household garbage or placed into a box, like a cereal box and then placed with the recycling. Do not place loose, shredded paper out for recycling, it blows away when placed into the DPW truck. Please see any and all information regarding recycling under the "Recycling" tab on the front page of our web site. Any questions, you may call the Borough Hall.
If you have excess "Empty, Clean and Dry" bottles, cans, and plastics, you may come down to Borough Hall and place them in the dumpster to the left. The dumpster to the right is for paper and cardboard. Remember: NO PLASTIC BAGS and NO USED, DIRTY FURNACE FILTERS are to be placed in with the recycling. See the tab for "Recycling" for a complete list of what is and what is not recyclable.
PAPER, TRASH ONLY and EMPTY Bottles and Cans, stickers available in the Borough Hall. Remember all recycling must be EMPTY, CLEAN and DRY. Please do not place your recycling to the curb in plastic bags. Plastic bags are NOT recyclable at the curb, you can take those to the grocery store. For a full list of what is and what is not recyclable, please see the "Recycle" tab to the left.
Residents: We now have a "Little Red Free Library" in the Borough. This free little library is located at the entrance to the playground. Please visit it and take a book or two for your little ones. The library will be re-stocked as needed. We ask that you do not donate any of your books to it due to Covid concerns. This little free library has been donated to us by Randolph Girl Scout Troop 96244.
It is a wonderful project they thought of and implemented here in our Borough for our residents. We thank them for thinking of us and our children.

There have been many complaints regarding the excessive noise happening after hours.
The noise ordinance: Chapter III - Conduct and Prohibitions, Section 3-11.3 Noise Control - Specific Standards: f, g, and h. Basically reads that between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. there is to be no excessive noise. Your neighbors should not hear your voices or vehicles of any kind or your music after the hours of 10:00 p.m. Please be respectful and understanding that some people go to work early and need their sleep. There are also people who work all night and when they come home would like to go to sleep with uninterrupted excessive noise. Thank you.
Residents of school age children, please see the attached notice
regarding bus passes and what you need to do for the upcoming school year to receive them from the Dover Board of Education. Any questions, please call the Borough Hall. Click Here.
